Review: Baby Alexander & Medical Scanner…

Holly has always loved babies and plays for hours with them. Having an older sister meant that their were dolls to play with from the minute she was born. When she got her own Baby Annabel, she declared it the best present ever. We were recently sent Baby Alexander and a medical scanner and Holly’s face lit up when she saw them.

Baby Alexander looks just like a baby and at 43cm tall, he feels like a baby in your arms. He cries real tears, has a dummy, moves his mouth when drinking, you can burp him, rock him to sleep, and giggles a lot.

Baby Alexander comes with a babygro and hat, a bib, charm, bottle and dummy. He requires 3 x AAA batteries which aren’t included.

Holly couldn’t wait to start playing with Baby Alexander and instantly started feeding him just like a real baby.

Holly loved that his mouth moved as she fed him, just like a real baby. Holly is really gentle and caring with her babies and is adorable to watch. Once he had finished his bottle, she burped him.

If you press Baby Alexander’s tummy he will giggle, which made Holly laugh. I’ve not seen such a response doll before, and it definitely made Holly play with him for longer.

The Medical Scanner was not something that I had seen before. Its designed to make Baby Annabel or Baby Alexander better. It comes with lots of medical accessories, like a stethoscope, medicine spoon, plaster, injection, thermometer and more. You need 3 AAA batteries which are not included.

Holly was very excited to start playing with the medical scanner. Poor Baby Alexander had lots of things wrong with him!

It has a draw on one side and a call button, which pops out.

Holly loved putting a plaster on Baby Annabel and giving her an injection. She felt like a proper doctor!

My girls played babies, doctors and hospitals for hours at the weekend.

We have previously reviewed the Baby Annabel Hospital and the hospital and medical scanner go perfectly together to aid role play.

Baby Alexander is priced at £49.99 from Smyths Toys and the Medical Scanner is priced at £23.99 from Smyths Toys.
