Review: Belly Bashimi Game…

We love a board game, especially one that makes us all laugh out loud. This is exactly what happened when we were sent Belly Bashimi to review.

Belly Bashimi is a fun game where you become a sumo sashimi sensei and bounce your opponent out of the ring. The game comes with a ring that you put together and lay out on the floor.

You then scatter sushi discs within the ring.

Its then time to strap on your belly. It goes around your waist and there is velcro to stick on the belly. It would’ve been good if the strap was adjustable, as for Alice it was rather big.

Its then time to step into the ring and one player spins the sushi spinner.

What sushi the spinner lands on you place your feet on the sushi disc that matches. Once your feet are planted you have to try and bounce your opponent out of the ring with your belly, to try and become the sumo champion!

The game recommends for age 7 plus, but Holly wanted to have ago too and the girls had great fun playing it.

I can see this game being great fun for families, especially at Christmas time. When we all let our hair down and get the whole family involved it. You can play the game either 1 on 1 or in teams.

The best of three rounds and the winner becomes a sumo champion.

The Belly Bashimi RRP £17.99 and you can purchase it from Very.

It’s a fun game for the whole family and I can see you playing this on winter afternoons when we’re all together. And I know the girls will want to get it out on Christmas Day for nanny and grandad to play, and I can’t wait for that.

Do you like playing games in your home?
