We love to go out for walks in the woods and the girls love to explore. We were recently sent the Kidnoculars Extreme from Learning Resourse UK and the girls couldn’t wait to try them out at the weekend.
The Kidnoculars Extreme allow you to look, listen and explore. To get started you need to add 2 AAA batteries and there is a volume control disc on the side. Now you’re ready to start exploring.
They are really easy to wear and come with a breakaway neck strap to be able to hang around their neck.
It has a focus-free dual eyepiece for easy viewing and it comfortably sits on their nose. The view finder has 3x magnification, which my girls couldn’t believe and we talked to them about what this was and how it worked. They loved being able to see birds in the trees, a lot closer without scaring them.
It has a built in microphone which amplifies the sound of nature into the ear pieces.
They are great STEM learning tool, and my girls really enjoyed using it. It got us having conversations about nature and the world we live in. It encouraged them to discover things that they would’ve otherwise missed.
They are lightweight and easy to wear and very colourful. I can tell they are well made and durable.
