Welcome to this week’s Sharing The Blog Love Showcase, the place where I share with you my favourite posts from the posts that joined #SharingtheBlogLove last week. It’s a real mixed bag of post this week and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Mommy and Rory
Before I became a mum I naively thought that when I became a mum I would have ‘mum friends’, I didn’t really give it much thought to how this would happen, just that it would. Of course you then become a mum and realise that actually its not quite like that. But having mum friends, people that are going through the same as you, I think is really important. I loved this post from Becky, How Important are Your Mamma Friends? and one not to be missed.
A Life In Practice
When you become a parent one thing that feels like a massive pressure, is the birthday cake for your child. It’s ridiculous the amount of pressure we put ourselves under when really it can be so simple and look amazing. Claire shows us, How to make a sprinkle cake, and it looks fantastic, any child would love to have this on their birthday. It’s so simple to do and you can add a personal touch to what you add on top. Thanks Claire, I’m booking marking this!
Spring has been teasing us a bit this year, but its definitely on it’s way. Louise shares with us some ideas of, What to do with a toddler in Spring, and I love them all. In fact I was quite pleased with myself when I read it that we do all of these, high five to me! If you need some ideas this Spring, this is the post for you.
The Queen Of Collage
I try to be a crafty mummy and I look out for nice easy crafts that the girls can do (and not too messy!). Helena shares with us How to Make a Windsock, which looks brilliant and is definitely one that my girls would be able to do and have fun too.
I told you it was a mixed bag this week, that’s what I love about blogging you never know what you are going to be reading next…
