Welcome to this week’s #SharingtheBlogLove showcase post. Where I’m sharing my favourite posts from last week.
Five Little Doves
At this time of year social media is full of everyone sharing their happy fun festive times and so they should. It is a really magical time. But sadly it is also a time that can be incredibly hard for a lot of people. Laura writes so beautifully and openly a letter to her son Joseph, For Joseph on our 12th Christmas without you, I read it through tears and my heart goes out to Laura and her family.
You Know You’re A Mum When
This is a post that I could relate to, Has Becoming A Stay At Home Mum Killed My Ambition?, I’ve been a SAHM for over 3 years now, it was a decision that we made together and I was happy with it, it was right for us as a family. But whilst I don’t think it has affected my ambition, as I wasn’t overly ambitious. It has affected my confidence and we get closer to a time when Holly will be starting school and I will return to work. It makes me nervous as to what I will do and where do I fit?
Meme and Harris
We are officially on Christmas countdown and I can’t wait. To have some time together as a family when most of the country closes down is brilliant. It’s like no other holiday and it’s a time when my husband can really relax knowing that work isn’t pilling up. Reading Natalie’s post, Christmas 2017, I remember so clearly last year when she was heavily pregnant and very sure that her baby would arrive before Christmas. But he kept her waiting! I really hope they have a lovely first Christmas as a family of five.
Our Rach Blog’s
I love getting to know the blogger behind the blog and there is often a few tags that go around the blogging community that helps us do that. Rachel has shared her, 100 Truths, I’m really nosy and I loved reading it and finding out more about Rachel.
If you missed any of these last week, please choose 1 and pop over to give it some extra love…
