The Sinner, Little Mix and Holidays…LittleLoves

It’s been a pretty normal week for me this week. I love the simplicity of our weeks, Holly and I have our little routine while Alice is at school and we are all really happy with it.

I read this week that Instagram are now letting some third party apps access to enable business users to schedule their Instagram posts. Whilst I prefer to post mine live, it would be really handy to have this option when we are on holiday and I want to share a photo, but I don’t have to be worrying about the ‘right’ time to post it.

I went out for dinner with some friends a couple of weeks ago and we were discussing Netflix series to watch and a couple of them said I had to watch The Sinner, that is was amazing.

Well I have been binge watching it and it is AMAZING! It’s one of those that you are desperate to get to the end to see what happens, but then you don’t want it to end as you love watching it so much. I definitely recommend it!

At the moment all my girls want to listen to and dance to is Black Magic by Little Mix. I feel like I have it going around my head all day long. Time to get them into a new song I think.

We made plans! We’ve booked our holiday to Cornwall in the summer and we can’t wait. We’ve never taken the girls to Cornwall before and it’s such a beautiful part of the country. The girls are really excited, especially Alice as we will be on holiday for her birthday for the first time and she can’t wait to hopefully spend it on the beach.

I wore a smile. Because yesterday I got a text message from Alice’s school to ask me to attend assembly on Friday as Alice was being awarded. I couldn’t be more prouder of her. She doesn’t know about it and I can’t wait to see her little face when she see’s Andy, Holly and I sat in the hall.

And Lastly…

Goodbye January, Hello February. Whilst I’ve loved the slowness of January, I’m ready for February and some family time in half term.

I hope you’ve all had a lovely week.

Aww it sounds as though you’ve had a lovely week. I binge watched The Sinner a few weeks ago after hearing about it from my South African sister in law! Wasn’t it just brilliant!!! But like you say, it’s such a shame when you come to the end of a great series.

I’m very envious of your Cornwall holiday – I love Cornwall. It’s where we went for our first holiday as a family of three and I have such fond memories. So beautiful too!

And well done Alice on the award!! She’s going to be wearing that smile soon too 😉

    Wishing you a fabulous week

    Steph xx

Aww how lovely to see Alice getting her surprise award! I’m so jealous of your trip to Cornwall, I haven’t been since I was a child. I’d love to take my two there and enjoy some of the things I did when I was little. Ha ha I like your girl’s taste in music! Have a great week! #littleloves

I use Grum for my Instagram (or rather I do when I remember) which is really good, it allows you to schedule and then actually posts for you instead of sending you a reminder.

I’ve actually been a bit fed up with Instagram as I am seeing more and more ‘ads’ from companies and less from my friends and instagrammers who I love.

Love the picture of Alice, I bet you were beaming with pride x

Being a teacher I’m also looking forward to half term! I’ve never been to Cornwall, it’s on our UK Travel Bucket List. Hope you enjoyed your girls assembly, enjoy your Sunday xx

Well done on your little one getting an award at school, I bet you were so proud watching her.
We’re off to Cornwall for the May/June half term and I cannot wait, I do love it down there xx

Aww, well done Alice, that’s lovely. I’ve never been to Cornwall – when we lived in Scotland it was just too far away but maybe we’ll make it there some time now we’re a bit nearer! I’m still ploughing through Grey’s Anatomy but I’ll have to check out The Sinner when I’m finished #LittleLoves
