I love watches and I probably have more than the average person, but I’ve never had a luxury watch before and I have always brought from the high street. Which of course there is nothing wrong with buying from the high street and it is something that I will continue to do. But occasionally it would be nice to have a more luxury watch for those rare nights out or to have as special gift for a birthday.
We’re living in a world where a large percentage of shopping is done online, I very rarely actually go into shops and just browse. If I do go into shops, its because I specifically need something or I’m picking up a click and collect order. I do all my browsing and the majority of my shopping online. Which I think is the case for a lot of people now. We all live busy lives and whilst I do love and miss a good shopping trip with my friends, it is easier to buy online and not have to take two small children around the shops. Plus with next day delivery available from a lot of shops, we don’t have to wait long.
The watch market is no different and buying a watch online is no different to buying a pair of shoes. There is a luxury watch market which is a big industry with collectors waiting to match buyers with seller. Chronoexpert are doing just that and selling gently used luxury watches to customers. All their watches go through a complex verification screening by a team of experts and no counterfeits will get passed them.
Each watch indicates what you will receive, such as boxes and papers which come with it and they have a large selection to choose from. I’ve been eyeing up the Patek-Philippe watches collection, they are gorgeous.
When buying a watch online, you should treat just like you would any other purchase. Make sure is a reliable and trustworthy site. Take the time to read through their policies and return and faulty policy in particular. Look for any reviews and don’t dismiss them. Don’t make an spontaneous purchase, take your time and make sure its the right purchase for you.
Have you thought about owing a luxury watch and have you bought a gently used watch before? I would love to hear your thoughts on it?
