On a Friday Holly finishes school at lunchtime and I love it. I wish they would do this all the time! We booked tickets to go to The Vyne and luckily it turned out to be a sunny day. They had a one way system, which took us on a lovely walk at the start, even though it confused the girls as we always go over the bridge when we normally arrive. But we told them, that is now at the end on the way out.
It was really quiet and we sat on their large lawn area in front of the house by the lake. The kiosk was open and we sat and had an ice cream. After a few rainy days, it was just what we needed and a lovely afternoon.
