My Little Snapshots…

This week was our first full week back to school and all the after school activities. Trying to juggle both the girls interests and making them happy is hard work at times, but worth it.

I’ve been working most of this week and doing lots of admin jobs. The bits of blogging that people don’t see, that take a lot of time and when you first start blogging you have to teach yourself how to do it. Thank goodness I have Netflix to keep me company while I do it.

Here is a little snapshot of my week…

Our Little Star… On Friday Andy and I went to Holly’s school assembly to see her get a certificate at school. It was lovely seeing her stood up there and we’re always very proud of her. I can’t believe she has been at school for 18 months already, it only feels like yesterday I was dropping her off for her first day.

Getting Some Fresh Air… On Sunday morning the forecast showed that it was going to be dry until lunchtime and we got up to head out for some fresh air while we could. It’s felt like there has been a storm and rain every weekend recently. The sky was blue and it was lovely to walk and the girls to run about. We then headed to a cafe nearby to warm up.

House Shopping… I went shopping with my friend and it was my favourite kind of shopping, as it was bits for the house. It was lovely to catch up, grab a coffee and shop! I used to love going shopping for clothes, but now I would much rather shop for our home.

The Liar…A couple of weeks ago we saw an advert for the new series of Liar, which looked brilliant. But we didn’t recall watching the first series, so we went back to watch it. It turned out we hadn’t seen the first series, I’m not sure how we missed it! Anyway we binge watched it last week, ready to watch the new series this week. The first episode was brilliant and I can’t wait for Monday to watch the next episode.

This weekend… Holly has football on Saturday morning and then we’re seeing friends in the afternoon. On Sunday its my Dad’s birthday and we have my family all coming over, which will be lovely.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
