It’s been a busy week, with the girls having lots of fun things happening at school. They’ve both been doing their Christmas plays and whilst its not the same this year. As we can’t go and watch them, they have been filmed and we will get to watch them at home. It will be lovely that the girls will get an opportunity to see each others too, which is a lovely positive to it all.
Here is a little snapshot of my week…
A Gingerbread Trail… At the weekend we went to a nearby house, that had a gingerbread trail on. The girls loved running around looking for gingerbread and we kept warm with hot chocolates. It was nice to do something Christmasy. I loved the decorations on this big old door.
Swimming & Brownies…On Monday Alice went back to Brownies and Holly went back to swimming. It was nice to have some normality after lockdown. Alice made Christmas decorations and loved it. Holly was amazing in the pool, and is nearly ready to move up a level.
A Light Show… We headed to Silverstone after school on Wednesday night to see their new Lap Land Experience. Andy got to drive around Silverstone circuit as we enjoyed the light show. The girls loved it! Our favourite part was seeing Father Christmas in the snow globe. It was a lovely evening and it was nice to get out.
Furry Friends… I had a lovely walk with my friend this week and I got to meet her puppy too. She was so cute and cuddly and I’m pleased I got to see her whilst she was still little. It was nice to catch up and get some fresh air.
What We Watched…We finished the second season of Virgin River and loved it. It always speeds up at the end and gets really good. It has been left on a cliff hanger and I’m hoping this means there will be another season. If you haven’t watched it, I recommend it.
This weekend… We’re off to a National Trust to do the Peter Rabbit Trail that they have on this winter.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
