Welcome to this week’s #SharingtheBlogLove showcase. It was a brilliant week with lots of lovely posts to read, making it a difficult choice. If you’re new here, then these are my favourite 4 posts from last week’s link up. It would be great if you could pop over and give one of them some love.
Five Little Doves
Get your tissues ready when you read this one, Dear Pregnant Stranger. Laura writes beautifully about an encounter she had with a pregnant lady, how she listens to the lady chat freely, when inside her thoughts are taking her to a place of jealousy. A place that she often finds herself, but that is ok. It is ok to feel like this, jealously is an emotion that we all have at times. It’s how you handle that jealousy that will make you stand out from the crowd. Laura handled it perfectly, making a mum who was in that last worrying stage feeling good and that is a wonderful thing to do. Even though it was eating her up inside.
Oh Just My Little Blog
Meet Teddy! I love a newborn post, to see the gorgeous photos of their baby, hear what they’ve decided to call their little bundle and read them gush over their love for their new baby. It’s a wonderful time those first few months and a privilege to have it shared with us. It took them a while to decide on a name, but I think Teddy is just perfect!
Toby Goes Bananas
The gender of your baby can stir up all kinds of emotions, ones that you didn’t know existed, that can catch you by surprise and can consume you at times. Sarah writes a really honest post, Gender disappointment – How I really feel about having 2 boys. Sharing with us that she was disappointed, which must have been incredibly hard to write those words for all to read. Everyone’s story on the gender of their children is different and there is no one way of feeling about it.
Mrs Mummy Harris
Lianne is currently pregnant with twins and she shares with us, Twin Pregnancy Symptoms. Poor Lianne has had every pregnancy symptom going and so many I can sympathise with. Having HG is no fun, I suffered with both my pregnancies. I’m quite jealous that her pregnancy cravings are a Mc’d’s chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. I didn’t have any cravings really and feel like I missed out!
If you missed any of these last week please head over and give them some love…
